About Kootenay Goaltending

Kootenary Goaltending provides goalie coaching to the East Kootenay’s, from the WHL level, all the way to Minor Hockey. We also handle camps, private lessons, and offer services in arenas throughout the East Kootenay’s, although we are based out of Cranbrook, BC.

We started out in January 2018 due to the demand for goalie coaching from Nathan Lieuwen, as he retired from playing professional hockey. We currently coach in Cranbrook, Kimberley, Fernie, Sparwood, Elkford, Invermere, Golden, and Creston.

As a business, we are always looking to help anyone in need of support for goalies. Even when goalies just need advice or guidance, we want to be there to give every goaltender the best opportunity to realize their dreams.

The Kootenay Goaltending Difference

Our client base consists largely of people looking to improve themselves in hockey. As we work with anyone in need of assistance, not baring age or gender, we do not really have a fixed client base, although we are currently only dealing in hockey.

Our commitment is to give each client the best opportunity to grow and learn both in the game of hockey and life. This is an aspect that makes us second to none. We are proud to offer these services to kids and athletes, local to the East Kootenay’s. We teach goaltenders in a way that is diverse and applicable to each athlete. We not only care about our clients but will do everything to advance and support our athletes. This sets us apart from the rest of our competition.

We are very proud to be the goalie coach provider for the Kootenay ICE (WHL), the Kimberley Dynamiters (KIJHL), and yearly participant at goaltending collective camp NET360, which have been some of our biggest achievements.

Our dream for the future is to turn into a staple in not only goalie coaching in the Kootenay’s but in players skills development and coaching.
